BD7510 Narrow Transport

Introducing the new BD7510 Drill line, engineered specifically for die-hard no-till operators who need a mid-sized drill that folds to under 10' for ease of transport. Available in 15' and 20' working widths, BD7510 Drills are built to last. BD7510 Drills feature a leading coulter to seed in nearly any condition and the trusted Great Plains Metering System that consistently meters large seed, small seed, and fertilizer – all through the main box of the drill. The innovative folding tongue design keeps the operator in the cab – even when switching between field and transport modes.

Great Plains Metering System

• This innovative system meters by shaft speed, adjusting for different application rates by changing the meter wheel rpm. Large seed, small seeds, and fertilizer can all be metered through the same seed cup. Each seed meter comes with meter wheels for small and regular seeds and are staggered for optimum distribution. A third seed wheel for large seed/fertilizer is optional.

BOX OPTIONS

• The BD7510 offers two additional seed box options. Add a 7.5-bu. capacity small seeds box on 15' models, or a 10-bu. capacity small seeds box on 20' models to handle small seeds like clover and alfalfa. Or specify a native grass box to seed light, fluffy native grass blends. These boxes have a capacity of 15 bu. on 15' models or 20 bu.

Leading Coulter Options

• Row units on the BD7510 utilize an integrally-mounted coulter to cut residue and prepare a mini seedbed ahead of the trailing double-disc opener. Coulter blade options include exclusive 5/8" Turbo coulter blades or 5/16" fluted coulter blades. For extremely dry, tough, and/or compacted conditions, optional weight kits are available to aid coulter penetration. An ~1,600 lb. removable weight kit is offered for the 20' model and an ~800 lb. removable weight kit is available for 15' models.

NARROW TRANSPORT DESIGN

• Featuring hydraulic tongue latches, BD7510 drills are folded and unfolded without the operator leaving the tractor cab. All models fold to under 10' for field-to-field, down-the-road, and through-the-gate convenience.

Press Wheel Options

• Choose from 3"x13" double rib, 3"x13" center rib, 2"x13" smooth, or 1"x12" double V press wheels (availability depends on row spacing).

Row Spacing & Opener

• Row spacing options vary by working width. 15' models offer a choice of 6" or 7.5" spacing, while 20' models are offered in 7.5" spacing only. The 6" row spacing model utilizes an 07 Series opener, while those with 7.5" spacing use an 06 Series row unit. Both openers feature a leading coulter and row unit combination with the opener moving independently of the coulter. The double-disc blades are 13.5" in diameter, 4mm thick, and are offset 1/4". Triple-lip sealed bearings reduce maintenance and keep the blades operating smoothly. Depth is easily adjusted with an 18-position T-handle on each opener.

Split-Box Configuration (Opt)

• This convenient design adds versatility to the main seed box. A lower door can be opened so the entire capacity can be used for seed; or use the partition in a 60%/40% ratio to fill with two types of seed or a seed/fertilizer combination.
