Proven design provides unrestricted material flow for fast and effective corn and cotton residue shredding. Available in 15 and 20 ft. widths with three knife options, the Hiniker 1700 Series provides outstanding performance and maximum value.

Features may include:

High-vacuum 3 inch cup knives ensure complete shredding, even in ridged fields. Or, choose power-saving reversible dual side-slicer knives where maximum suction isnt required. The 1700 is also available in a special ridge-till configuration which places cup knives between the rows, and side-slicers over the row.

235 HP rated Superior gearboxes are standard on all machines. All units have a standard overrunning clutch to protect shredder and tractor.

Matched C section belts provide extra power transfer reserve and minimum slippage. 8 inch diameter spring loaded backwrap idler extends belt life and is easily adjusted with just a screwdriver.

All rotor and drive shaft bearings are 2inch diameter self-aligning. Bearings are triple lip sealed and shielded. Rotor bearings are precision piloted for long term stability and life.

Category 5 plus constant velocity (C.V.) P.T.O.s are standard on all trailing units. This eliminates driveline knocking and the need to disengage P.T.O. on short turns. An overrunning clutch is included to protecttractor P.T.O. during shutdown.
